improving industry & human autonomy through robotics

Welcome! This site highlights my research and projects, featuring additional graphics and insights not found on my resume. Please feel free to reach out for any questions or collaboration opportunities!

background

I earned my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. My research experience began in my sophmore year under Dr. Kulinsky in the BiNoM lab. where I worked on CD microfluidics and gained early experience in academic research and industry collaboration. By my junior year, I shifted my focus to rehabilitation robotics, collaborating with the Robotics & Automation Lab under Dr. McCarthy to design rehabilitation devices for the shoulder and finger in collaboration with medical professionals.

After graduation, I pursued a master's degree to strengthen my robotics expertise before entering the industry, I was awarded the Graduate College Master's Fellowship at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I now work in the Monolithic Systems Lab under Dr. Krishnan. My current research focuses on soft and continuum robotics manipulators for industry, medical, and space applications.
